Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park Kicks Off its Holiday Hours

By funafar

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, located on top of Iron Mountain in Glenwood Springs, Colo., is now open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for the holidays. This winter, visitors can enjoy a ride in a fully enclosed gondola car on the Iron Mountain Tramway, a 70-minute guided tour of Glenwood Caverns & Historic Fairy Caves, plus unlimited access to laser tag and Colorado’s only alpine coaster and 4-dimensional theater, for just $29 per person with a Winter Fun Pass. The Lookout Grille is serving lunch and refreshments by the fire, and the General Store is open for last-minute holiday shopping. This is a great way to entertain the kids during winter break and guests visiting over the holidays.

Cave Tours are offered from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the last tram up is at 4 p.m. The holiday hours continue through Jan. 3, 2010; the Park will be closed Christmas Day. For more information, visit GlenwoodCaverns.com or call 970-945-4228 or 800-530-1635, ext. 111.
