World premiere for piano and strings
World premiere for piano and strings

Festival-commissioned world premiere of Green Torso/Green Torso Too, Quartet for Piano and Strings, written by Marc Neikrug, Bravo’s 2009 Composer-in-Residence, will be performed July 28 at the Vail Mountain School. Many call Neikrug an American musical jack-of-all trades, because his compositions cover much ground with traditional tonal works and his more modern, dissonant works. Besides composing, Neikrug is the artistic director of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. Neikrug is the son of the remarkable concert cellist and pedagogue George Neikrug.

Enjoy Green Torso/Green Torso Too premiere on July 28 and plan your trip with www.funafar.com
